I still think there's strings attached to the Mags deal. If they were going to start pouring money in at City levels, they don't have any need to give Staveley and the Reubens a wedge. But that's what we needed to get a deal done with FPP. Someone who can act as a go-between for the current owners and the money men.

Sorry if £9M isn't a substantial enough amount for you but in League 1 terms that is a big, big ,big amount of money. Especially with the situation we are in with Corvid-19.

And what good has it done is so far? We are currently 7th in the table and spent fuck all in January.
By the way their ‘investment’ was pre covid.

the £9m wasnt for paying for footballers now..if sd used it for that he would be breaching the terms of the loan agreement..
we were net speders in janueary..
