A league win 30 years ago gives them a great history? They had a good team in the late 60's early 70's and a good spell in the 90's. Other than that done nothing of note. They haven't played int he top flight for 15+ years.

At a guess they would be bottom half of the top flight at best on trophies won.
bottom half of top flight? thats a decent history.
compare them with newcastle, ad a host of other regualr premier league teams right now..leeds have a great hisotry..and a decet sized fa ase..
i think a potetial buyer would look at leeds, a team that has been in latter stages of champs league..and place a prremium on them compared with palace or newcastle or southhampton, or sunderland, or burnley, or bournemouth, for example.

Dark dark days for SAFC and the City of Sunderland this. Could eb the final nail in the coffin for both, as NUFC will start challenging at the very top and Newcastle as a City will undoubtedly excel even further ahead of Sunderland and the rest of Tyne and Wear.

Praying for a miracle.
I’d rather be supporting a team not owned by known torturers, human rights abusers and killers though marra. I can support with a clear conscience

I see what you are saying but it's not a given that the skunks will succeed even with their blood money.

Decent I would agree, not great.
Newcastle have a better history than Leeds, I guess the others are subjective, Palace would attract a premium due to being in London for example. They have a big catchment area and some decent history so there will definitely be an attraction there.

dont think arsneal deserve to be included anymore.,.think the other five have streaked ahead...everton, arsenal ad leicester are competing for sixth really...they are in a group below the top five..and the top five used to be a top four..
I think they have a long way to go till they are on Arsenals level. All Arsenal have to do is sign 3-4 top players and keep Aubameyang

We haven't won a trophy since 1973 and haven't won a league since 1936. The mags haven't won a trophy since 1969 or league since 1928. Does that mean we don't have a great history?

they have the champions league thing for sure.
palace does have quite a good catchment area..and ist an area that is ecomig wealthier..ut bigger cathment area than leeds?

Never heard a dickie bird regarding Saudis human rights record whilst they bankrolled Man City.
Hot topic on here now they’re taking over the mags............

It's history because its all in the past. They have won less than probably 10-15 clubs in this country, I wouldn't say that gives them a great history. Not sure how much any of that really matters now anyway.

I meant Leeds with catchment area, I am not sure they would go for more than Palace all things being equal now.
