The Reuben brother's are worth £18bSo you are getting the runt who is only worth €7bn.

He was fired the first day of the trial as soon as he pleaded guilty to one of the chargestbf whilst Adam Johnson was innocent the club continued playing him, when the justice system found him guilty of grooming he was promptly fired.
But make no mistake Newcastle’s new owners are no way comparable to that situation.
Newcastle are welcoming murderous, human trafficking, slave labouring, corruption loving, torture using, war mongering, dirty money to your club........and it’s all been overlooked because of the wealth.
Birds of a feather flock together
look, if you want to be the moral winner here then be my guest. If you are looking to rank incidents and see your past demeanours as less detestable than ours then again you do that. Not once have I looked to compare here as you know.
other than you now being the moral winner here, what else do you want out of this ? It’s been proven by countless clubs over countless years that principles go out of the window once it affects their club so again, what is it that collectively NUFC fans can do here ?
So you are getting the runt who is only worth €7bn.
Seriously though, £7bn is crazy money.
Is that their personal wealth or how much they are worth? The Reuben brother's are worth £18b
I agree it will take time for footy to recover (all of us probably). However I think these potential owners are so rich that they can soak up any financial pressure and have probably taken it into account.
If it happens. Which it probably won’t.
I'm not saying he's a runt, it was a joke.Well according to reports its the Saudi public investment fund, which manages a fund of 260 billion, which is managed by the runt. Joining with the Reuben brothers worth £18bn.
I'm not saying he's a runt, it was a joke.
But the main issue though isn't their wealth but their human rights record. You have to concerned that murderous dictator is about to control your club.
But it this way, if Vladimir Putin was to fund a takeover of us would the Mags not be on their high horse?
Besmirching Sid who obviously loved Sunderland so much he chose it as his place of death! You spelt Sid incorrectly.
You mean like Ashley's" wallpaper money"..,,,Is that their personal wealth or how much they are worth?
Juan Sartori is worth over a billion but he's personal wealth isn't anywhere near a billion. That's how a lot of people fall into the trap of believing they have billionaire owners and end up with chancers.
I'm not say that is happening at NUFC as bin Salman is worth £7bn in his own right which is staggering even without the personal wealth of the Reuben's.
All those billions must be tied up elsewhere, good job Ashley is around to loan them cash to proceed.Well according to reports its the Saudi public investment fund, which manages a fund of 260 billion, which is managed by the runt. Joining with the Reuben brothers worth £18bn.

Darren who, he's a nobody .Another Geordie backslap
They don't even own the ground so they can't demolish it.Serious question for the thousands of mags who infest this site. St James’ was described as a lop sides carbuncle by previous owner John Hall and with the new stadia shooting up, Man City, Arsenal, Spurs, etc..., it’s starting to look a little sad to say the least.
If this takeover goes ahead and the new murderous regime decide to throw obscene amounts of blood money at the club, would you want them to flatten St James’ and build a more visually appealing stadium fit for the 21st century, or are you quite happy to keep the lop sided carbuncle?
Imagine the stenchI am just imaging the 50000000 Geordies on the town moor just looking at the shirts hanging out to dry. Property prices will rocket!
I love how pessimistic around 50% of your support are around this![]()
I think its clear someone is taking over, PIF involvement might not be as clear cut as some are thinking but I'm about 95% certain you're getting rid of the person you want out.
Someone described it as you being conditioned to expect him to find some way of kicking you in the bollocks![]()
Great post.I got that it was joke, no hostility intended.
Re. the other point. I'll try and keep it brief and light.
Whilst what they do with the laws in their own country, it's centuries behind, it's not good at all. It does sit uneasily.
Had Newcastle under Ashley aggressively ambitious or moderately succesful how he runs his other businesses would never have been an issue.
With the Saudis, they will do what they are doing whether or not they own Newcastle, any other club, or no club at all. Fans of the club support the club no matter who the owner is or what they do.
These arab states are all portrayed in a bad light, but thousands of uk workers go out there to work. Clearly these have no issue with the background of these regimes, or if they do, they still take the money and work for them.
With them buying into a football club, it'll be easy for fans to separate "back home" from what's happening at their club, as long as the club does well. All most football fans care about is how their team does. They're all hypocrites as well.
Sportswashing is rife, F1, the World Cup, boxing, PSG, City, etc etc.
It is happening, and will continue to happen.
I don't think I've ever had a problem with middle eastern investors in European clubs, but I have moaned about the Qatar world cup, so put me on the hypocrisy list as well.
Ultimately with the Saudi PIF looking to move into football, I'm glad it's at Newcastle and not somewhere like Birmingham, Villa, Leeds, Sheff Wed, Brighton, Sunderland etc.
We might achieve absolutely nothing, might end up like City. Probably be closer to Everton. But I'd still rather it was us than somebody else. I think most fans outside the top 6 or 7 teams in the country would welcome it.
I'd also probably be putting the boot in if it was another club. Football fans are mainly fickle and hypocritical. If we were all principled we would've knocked it on the head when players were earning 50k a week, but now when there's players on half a million a week it's more popular than ever.
Assuming it even happens.
