I'm 100% serious.
I do not want a plastic club and that's what we would get.
I want trophies that are earned and not bought amid expectation rather than hoped for.
Look at Man City and earlier, Chelsea. Cash splashed and managers thrown in like confetti until they got a run of trophies.
That wasn't ever a build over time, it was which group of mercenaries worked the best.

The north east will become a mercenaries dream if this lot take over, I believe.
Man City can't even fill their stadium for the champions league.

If we follow that route the normal fans will soon be ousted to be replaced with high fee paying plastic success, bandwagon jumpers until they get bored.

We might not be pulling up trees, as is but I always have hope and class myself a a real Newcastle fan supporting footballers and a club that actually runs on it's own in house means.

I'd take Ashley for the rest of my life rather than have my club turned into a plastic club of expectation rather than hopes and dreams.

You're overdoing it now man.

I lived in Manchester when they first won the title with that Aguero moment. My mate from work was a massive City fan and I remember asking him if the feeling of winning the title was lessened because they had essentially bought it.

Will never forget the look on his face as he looked at me, smiled and told me to F off!

'...because I'm a Sunderland fan'

That last line, man. Which self-respecting Newcastle fan would utter those nine words?

You're as bad as the shite Wraith came out with last night.
I find some Newcastle fans to be almost snobbish and entitled but when they get called out they come out with the same words of " I just want a club that tries....I never expect."
I generally just walk away and simply say "pfffft."

Too many fans have joined a hate Ashley bandwagon and it's became a case of follow the bullies rather than have their own mind. All because a little man spat out his dummy.

He's not, he's just in love with Ashley!

He builds his life on having views opposite to the majority hence being a flat earther!
My life is about me having my own opinions and not following the narrative just because it's easier to do and keeps things all cuddly among people.
When the bullies change stance so do the followers. That should tell anyone all they need to know....in life, not just over Newcastle owners and so called messiah's.

😂 😂 😂

I’m man enough to admit it would be proper shite when/if this happens. Them being took over spending their way to the top end of the league, meanwhile were stuck in league one with an owner taking loans etc with little sign of planing or forward thinking. Anyone who says they ain’t just a little jealous is talking bollocks, look how excited the thought of dell coming aboard got us. Never mind eh stewy will see us right haha.
Look how excited we got when Brucey became our manager, mainly because he knocked the mugs back.Ellis Short wearing his FTM badge. The Don having a dig at the mugs. When Phil Parkinson goes the journey will we show extra patience to the new man in the job if the gap between us is even bigger than it is now,or show less because the gap is bigger.Patience, patience, patience lads and lasses.

This never happened

Maybe he just appreciates the club for what it is and what it can reasonably achieve, as opposed to the deluded majority.

Currently?

Wonder what he appreciates most? The Sports Direct signage splattered all over the ground? The lack of investment in the training facilities since Ashley took over? The lack of investment in the academy since Ashley took over? The two relegations since Ashley took over or maybe the fact that we're 10 weeks away from a young prospect walking away for nothing?

That's just off the top of my head...
