I agree, even confronted him on here about it. It was all a joke to him. Banter is ok but there are limits imho and he crossed the line. As you say though, he appeared to get away with it.

In a weird way it might entice other big money hitters up to this part of the country and we could be a target. If both nufc and safc were based in London we both would have been taken over years ago by rich people imo

For a retail genius like Ashley, this should be obvious and focus should have been on other sources of income. That being the case, why have our commerical revenues stagnated during his tenure?

He turned a team regularly in Europe into one that, more often than not, has to worry about being relegated from the top flight. You can maintain an animosity towards Newcastle United because they're your local rivals without wilfully twisting the facts.

This, especially that big pete fella, trys to come across as a uber fan but never goes to games, borb and bred on north tyneside, pays council tax to north tyneside,works on nt as does his lass, kids schooled in nt when and if he has any, propper macum :lol:
