Question for the resident mags. How much better than pardew's 5th and Benitez's 10th (both under Ashley) will the new owners have to do for you not to protest?
 

Surprised it’s happening, 150 members of the Saudi Royal family have contracted the Coronavirus. Surely they’ve got bigger problems to deal with.
 
Reading between the lines, Ashley has massively over reached himself betting on distressed high street retailers. They seemed foolish risks in normal conditions but the Corona situation has magnified it.

He must be sitting on an inventory mountain without any means to turn it into cash.

In such a scenario perhaps he has to sell his cash cow.

Independent of petty rivalries to see the likes of him, Michael O’Leary, Tim Martin have their greed fuelled empires turned upside down is a source of schadenfreude.
 
I just wonder how Bruce feels about this...it's not as tho he will get a big pay off if this goes through...because he's on peanuts.
At the moment he is our manager...will he be pushed out?
Will the new owners..if it goes through..have someone in mind ?.

Certainly for the Newcastle fans I know, in fairness, it’s not a question of league placing per se. It’s about having a club connected to the community and trying.

They remind me that in 1992 the club was on its knees but they were absolutely behind the club.

I’ve given a serious answer.

Seriously though, every man and his dog could see the 5th was a fluke. Subsequent seasons proved this and It’s disingenuous to use it as a barometer.

Ongoing progress and a sense of ambition please. You know what we had under Rafa Benitez. We looked in good shape in the last half of last season.
