So what. Newcastle will never be a successful team. Ever. FFP means you can't just pour money into a club. Even then, they won't attract really top players because of the location.
 

Interesting.. but unfortunely for anyone with wealthy owners these days you can't throw money about. Man City have been banned from the champions league for 2 seasons and fined £25 million. When FPP were potentially buying us it was a great opportunity for the club off the field but on the field I knew we'd be restricted.

Forgot Ashley had a massive affinity to us before he rocked up. He's certainly showcased that during his entire tenure...

Here's you referring favourably to Stewart Donald by his now seemingly-defunct moniker and in my opinion not having many reservations.

Whilst I have no doubt Ashley will sell the Mags in the near future as he needs the money to prop up other parts of his business empire, haven't we heard this sort of stuff before when season ticket renewals will be coming soon?

f***ing hell. I was actually giving you reasons to be optimistic when mentioning that it looked like she'd paid the loan off. However because of your small mindedness you think everyone on here is out for an argument. Do you have a bank of old posts saved up for every poster? For every tongue in cheek comment you can find I can probably reply with links showing all the criticisms I've made on here about Donald. My advice (although you'll take as me having a go) this anyone but Ashley Ashley attitude doesn't mean that all of your problems are solved.

Definitely, they wont be able to spend more than £100m a season without qualifying for a European competition. I dont agree with the location because if you throw big wages at players they will move.

If suggesting she's 'slippery' and bringing her rumoured personal life into the discussion is giving us reasons to be 'optimistic' then let me know when you're showing some pessimism. Don't have a bank of old posts, there is a search function at the top of the page fwiw.

Show me where I've said 'Anyone but Ashley', btw? Seems you're seeing stuff that isn't there.

Either way I prefer them constantly moaning about Ashley. Though im sure theyll transfer that rage on to someone else.
