Because we are playing poorly and reliant literally on two players to score most of the goals, its not rocket science to assume someone that just managed a club that nearly went bust would be one of the cheapest available, do you think Parkinson was the best we could get was he your pick.

Sunderland is a club with a huge community and it's totally right for the chairman to send a message to that community

Yes, it isn't anything groundbreaking nor is it particularly difficult to guess what it would say but breaking news is not really the point of it

I didn't have a pick really, apart from super kev which would of been a gamble, but any manager is a gamble. We a couple of few bad games under parkinson which dropped us out the the top 6 that doesn't mean that run will continue, what about his great run before that or was that all just luck!! The club going nearly bankrupt has nothing to do with how much wages or agent fees we had to play to get him

Look at our away record for example under him about 6 goals in 14 games or something like that, he's not the long term answer and it wasn't showing ambition we might scrape the play offs mind Donald should have backed him in January.

He doesn't need to be a long term answer if he gets us up then job done.
