Anyone enjoying all this?

I'm enjoying it less every day. If I wasn't still working from home I would be going up the wall. Although I can generally keep myself occupied, knowing I can't even take a walk around the block is quite depressing.

And my hair is getting on my f***ing wick - it hasn't been this long for about 40 years and Ms Z isn't confident enough to give it a go (and shouldn't really get that close). Going to be a self-hacking session soon.

I f***ing hate it.

I don't mind grafting through the week but really like to enjoy my weekends...this time round my highlights were cleaning the bathroom and sitting in my wind tunnel of a garden.

Missing the pub and the missus is pacing the house like a caged tiger, but generally it's all OK for me.

Work chipped in a few quid for WFH expenses then followed it up with a payrise as we've been getting headhunted.
Fuel spend is more or less nil
No Gym fees
No pointless trips out to pointless shops to spend money either (which the missus was guilty of).
Missus remembered she was a trainee hairdresser when she was younger and has made a decent job of my locks.

On the negative side, I can't visit the family face to face.
The dog is getting strangely used to the extra walks.
My PS4 time is down as I can't grab a quiet afternoon while everyone is out.

I've been furloughed,so sitting in the house is better than going to work but I'd rather the virus went away and things were back to normal.

I don't mind the isolating. I'm getting to spends lot of time with my kids which is nice but I'm worried about my Mrs and a few other family members going to work and still worried about my financial future longterm

Just found out that one of the bosses at my work has died due to Coronavirus. First person I've known to definitely have it. Scary.

Are you high risk. There’s 4 main points as to what we’re supposed to be doing & exercising is one of them.

I wouldn’t say I’m enjoying it. Can’t see family etc and not earning anything. Think there is a huge over reaction though. Most people are hardly short on entertainment options in the house and you’re still allowed out atm for exercise. The way some are going on you would think they’re in solitary in a 6x6 cage. Yes this isn’t ideal, but it’s really not the end of the world. Just gotta stay positive, isolate and see it through.

Absolutely love working from home and not having the daily commute through the tyne tunnel. I'm also lucky enough to live on the coast so have some superb walks to take the dog on without going far.

That said, I'd swap it tomorrow for things going back to normal

Great being off work and getting paid but it's a false economy..done a bit DIY but fk me that gets boring after a bit..it's just really sad hearing of the deaths every day and seeing the bellends who are ignoring all the warnings.

Yeah, I'm on 12-week Shielding as I still receive treatment for Myeloma and I'm also on dialysis. They have me down as COPD as well although I actually disagree with this. Despite receiving the letter / texts / phone call from GP / registering on Gov.UK, neither Sainsbury's or Asda are able to recognise me as on the list they use to allocate shopping slots which is quite annoying as Ms Z doesn't drive so can only fetch limited amounts of shopping.

I dont mind it at all. Ive lived alone for around 15yr so isolation is fairly normal for me. I dont bother much with people.

only see my kids on a sunday for dinner, but really miss them even though its only been 3 weeks or so since I saw them.

Am 70 on St Georges Day so will miss them more that day.
