Death Rate, not good news

Its serious this shit like my mother seems much better today but I'm still worried as apparently better before it gets worse.

Shes getting pissed off as I keep badgering her phone every hour and telling her to get drunk

Playing the chase via face time today both will pause say our answer then unpause.

Dropped off loads of vitamin C in orange juice. Honey and bottle of whiskey, 3 bottles of malbec, 3 packs of paracetamol and food.

If does get worse like bollocks to work I'll go see her and catch the virus myself if needed.
If you think your mam is sick why are you buying alcohol (or am I missing something?)

But it doesnt mean every middle aged bloke who is slightly overweight that some were implying.
People are just making shit up. Its ridiculous. I may have to socially isolate from a few of the more hysterical bed wetters.

It's a helpful list indeed in that it highlights what are all quite serious conditions independent of the viral infection.

Bugger...lets hope this is down to more testing but it appears the number of cases have gone up quite a bit (from the numbers Gordon quoted earlier up the thread) for large parts of theNE e.g. Sunderland is now 55 cases, County Durham 56 cases.

Just been on our local news that its spreading bad here in birmingham. Apparently the government are very worried about it.

Birmimgham airport being turned into a mortuaryšŸ˜

Lots of bad news nationally, but it is still all to play for in the North East.

The number of cases up here are still low, and some parts of the region have hardly any cases - Hartlepool only has 3!

If we stay disciplined we can still ride this out. People just need to knuckle down and get through it.
I still don't think we'll be too badly affected up here. However I think our hospitals will be needed to take patients from the South.

You are only supposed to be out for excersise and for a maximum of one hour,l max lying on the grass ls not excersise.

I get that it isnā€™t exercise but if they are out for their hour and thatā€™s it what harm is it doing?

Some people donā€™t like or do exercise so their version will just be going outside. Why does it bother you if someone isnā€™t moving?

Their version? The rule is quite clear, excersise, I repeat, lying on the grass isn't excersise, you can lie on the sofa at home, it's not open to interpretation, if you don't need /want excersise then stay at home like you've been told.

I hope so.

my worry is the food distribution.

if more and more start getting sick I canā€™t see how the current demand could be met.

even after all the selfish arseholes have stockpiled, there is still lots of products which you canā€™t get, pasta, rice, meat etc.

Yes, there food supply chain is a lot more fragile than we think. The daft thing is that big companies like Bidvest have loads of food that was destined for restauarants that they are going to throw away because it is in catering sizes

Unfortunately most NE places have increased by quite a bit in the last 48 hours, Hartlepool now has six. It is actually such a leap across the board I'm wondering if it has something to do with the revised way they are recording cases etc.

They might have been running/walking for all you know, if I run for 55 minutes but sit for an hour youā€™d be having a go at me.

I bought pasta, chicken and lamb at Aldi today.

Hopefully this and maybe my guess just by looking at China's curves that weekend April 11th-12th (LINK) being the peak will still possibly happen.

Where has he gotten that info from though as I see he's a Sun journalist  If this is something that is now believed by the experts then it's great news as I'd lost a bit hope earlier when I saw something else.

He's added more info in 2 more tweets.

Yes, there is a contingency plan that if the NHS falls in London they air bridge into James Cook, using the army from Catterick

I saw a video yesterday of the RAF practiscing flying Hercules into City Airport. I think that might happen sooner than later

I didn't mention people sitting mate. Just those lying on the grass.

What is the difference? If Iā€™m adhering to social distancing why do you or anyone else care if I spend a portion of my one hour on the grass on a sunny day?
