About time we had a thread on who shouts support or derision at the team and those who sit with their mouths shut even when we score (plenty round me in the east stand).

Still here numpty

No concern at all to you.
What I choose to do or not do in my life is zero concern to you pet

Jesus are you thick?

What I choose to do or not do in my life is zero concern to you numpty
Can you not remember saying the exact same thing last night ?
Absolutely steaming ^

You come on a message board, make controversial comments but won’t back them up.

You are a complete prick

I don't have to back them up though fruity!

All of the above is your very humble opinion which means Jack shit to me.

Surely this wind up merchant needs banning. They/he/she/it tagged Hank and then calls him a numpty!

Why do I need banning.
I'm entitled to my opinion. Just the same as you are!.!
If you can't handle that? Do 1

It's not for your opinion, it's for your confrontational and insulting posting style.

And the bizarre attitude of coming on a thread about leaving early, saying you do it (which is fine, you're allowed to as you repeatedly point out), but refusing to say why. So why did you bother responding to the thread at all then?

Observe how others have acted like adults and explained why they do it. Fair play to them, let's have a rationale discussion about reasons. Rather than acting like a spoilt child and ranting that you don't have to explain yourself to anyone, and you're sleeping with other posters partners.

Usually leave my seat about 85 mins,( wait for a break in play) not to get out early, its just my bladder cant hold out these days. Could probably manage 90 mins, but near back of NW corner it can take 15 mins to get down to the concourse on a slow day. I've had seats in 3 different places over the years and this one is the slowest to empty. I could drink less pints beforehand but I choose not to. I always see the final whistle from somewhere in the stadium.

But surely that's his/her point.
He/she doesn't HAVE to 'back them up'
This is a free country (just) - he/she can do what he/she wants with his/her free time, and doesn't need an 'excuse' for that.

But it's a pointless statement. It's like a post saying the sky is blue. Yeah, and?

Why post it's up to each individual if they want to leave early. We know that. No has ever said otherwise. Why comment at all if not to have a normal conversation about why. It's the why that is important. Otherwise no point posting on this thread at all is there?

So then you could argue that 'the why' is also pointless.
Why should there even be a 'why' when it's up to the individual?
I can definitely see his/her point in the fact that a 'reason' or a 'why' shouldn't even come into it.
It's up to the individual what he/she does with their time so therefore surely nobody (i'm trying my hardest to lessen the use of he/she) should even need to give a 'why'.
Some leave early, some don't - cant see how anyone needs to excuse themselves or defend themselves for that - or that it needs 'changing'.

The why is in your very last sentence. I think many want it to change. It's not a good thing. Yes people have a choice, but if there are reasons that the club can do something about, let's discuss it. Can we persuade less people to leave early (by choice, because the reasons that were making them leave have now gone).

For example many have cited it takes a long time to get out. Could we improve this? Remove some seats to widen the aisles, or taper them like the stade de France is? Would it make any difference?

Usually leave my SEAT with one minute of added time to go , slow walk down the steps , along the concourse than on the final whistle out the door.

Wait in my seat till the final whistle, wait to get down the steps and out back to the car , can add 25 minutes to the time I get home By the time the traffic is taken into account.

Saying that I‘ve left plenty of games early both home and away over the years when it’s suited me , really couldn’t give a fuck what others think .

First time I've taken the car on a Saturday and it took me just over an hour to get home to Gateshead (after leaving at full time). 20 minutes of that was getting out of stadium of light metro car park.

That's why I leave earlier when I drive to midweek games and have to be up for work at 4.45 am the following morning.

Yes well I can understand the 'can we/the club improve the exit ways' etc for those that leave early so as not to get caught in a 'bottle neck' idea, but I don't agree that it's 'not a good thing' - in my view it really doesn't matter when folk choose to leave.
