Just to add to the usual conspiracy theories re the FA and our womens team, I notice that despite being the joint highest ranked side in this competition at the start of the season, we had to go through a 'determining round' and have played 5 matches so far to get to the semi final. Southampton are a full division below Sunderland in the Southern set up but they have only played 4 rounds to get this far. Seems fair enough to me.............

FA are missing a trick if this isn't hosted at Burton given that the men are playing away the day before and it's a short trip for Stoke fans.
Either that or one of the other side's nearby so our fans can make a weekend of it would be most sensible but no doubt it'll be in a ridiculous location.

Well their auntie does play for Southampton.. my nephew married a southern lass but they live in Sedgefield.. he did make the little one have a Sunderland shirt on pre and post match
