Tbf the volume of traffic seems to taper off from Leeds northwards. There's probably no need for 3 lanes. The money would be better spent repairing the existing lanes cos some of the potholes are horrendous

Have they settled on a route for Darlo's northern bypass yet? It's been over two years since it was announced:

Darlington bypass and Tees river crossing plans progress

Funding will now be sought to draw up a business case for the two new roads.

Morpeth to Alnwick must be dualled. North Charlton to Berwick must be dualled.
