Really disagree with 'White-Ball contracts'. You play when you're picked. Don't want to play, find another county.
 
My question with this is what do they do for the majority of the season while the county championship is being played out.
Tbf to Rashid he's just come back from a serious operation on his shoulder and doesn't think it will hold up if he plays too much, he does want to play test cricket in the future if the shoulder improves, so potentially will play again next season in the CC.

Harsh on him that, hes only ever played T20 in Aus and it wasnt long ago he had a whiteball contract only for a season. Im not sure why he hasnt played in other major competitions particuarly the IPL

It will give him an insight in the windies pre World Cup. I hope the lad does go over there and play well
 
He's always been a luxury in Test cricket, even Root said as much as few years back. I'd rather see him with the white ball as long as possible for England.

i agree, also that dodgy shoulder

that warne like magic ball that got rid of dhoni showed he could be a great test player (I know it was white ball iirc) to get rid of him in such a manner

i don’t thing rash is up to bowling 25 overs in a day. Like archer he would get over bowled hoping for that bit of magic
