What a load of crap. His record at the time meant he was incredibly lucky to be in a job. His record now is still pretty poor and he’s got a long long way to go still to rectify the damage he caused earlier in the season. We should be sailing off into the distance at the top of the league, given how close we are and how much Parkinson fucked up for a substantial period of the season.

Please show one post from around the time when you thought that he was a good appointment? Everyone to a man disagreed with the appointment, yet there’s thousands now who claim they wanted him all along. So please find a single show of support for him from you prior to his appointment

What do you mean load of crap? My opinion at the time was to give him time. The thing is I’m still not wanking him off after his little purple patch either as there’s still a long way to go. Obviously you’re one of these wailing fanny types that can’t hold their emotions in check. Ahhh bless, it must be horrible being that mentally feeble.....

Must be one of the 10000 fans who always wanted Parky and knew he’d become a regional hero. Despite there being no evidence to support this position from prior to us winning games

I hate the habit the internet has of digging out a months old opinion and saying “See! You were so stupid! I knew this would happen because of my crystal ball! Want him out now? Eh? EH?!”

His record before Doncaster was utterly abysmal, and the people that asked questions of him then had every right to do so. Yes, things have got better since then but it’s not humble pie time yet.

He’s bought time, not unconditional support.

Why don't you judge the bloke at the end of the season ,who knows he might be the catalyst for greater things for our club.

We've started doing better, but we've achieved fuck all yet. I would expect a competent manager to have us top 6. If he gets up top 2, then let's say he's proved many wrong and he'll deserve this praise.

I, like most, didn't really want Parky here. That was probably based on 'the other options available' that I thought might be a much better fit for the club, and I also saw it as Donald penny-pinching again (no compo etc.).

Anyway, things were shockingly bad - woeful. Things have improved, and we are seeing the benefits of fitness, a togetherness, a will to work for each other on the pitch, and some of the negative influencers move on. That said, the last three games have been pretty crap to watch, despite the results.

Fact is, we just need to get out of this division and then reassess whether PP is the right man for the Championship. ANYONE that comes in if we get promoted will have a massive task on their hands.

Anyone who is choosing to ignore the fact that we have improved over the last month or so has an obvious agenda. Simple as that.

I wanted him gone as much as anyone but to say “ah well results two months ago were shit so we should definitely sack him now we’re unbeaten in 9” should probably watch a different sport.
