Most famous person you have ever met?

Saw Danny Collins strolling down Sunderland High Street wearing a Michael Jackson "thriller" type leather jacket followed by a bunch of schoolkids

Didn't say hello

Sir Ian McKellen (Theatre Royal)
President Jimmy Carter (Washington Old Hall)
Julia Roberts (Jogging in London)
Ray Stevenson ( Lounge at Newcastle Airport)
Zoe Wanamaker (London Theatre Back Door)
Michael Madsen (Lounge at Manchester Airport)
President Bashir Al Assad ( Lift at Damascus Hylton)

Met the Dalai Lama in London. I didn't say much really but did present him with a silk white scarf as is the tradition so not sure if that counts. I used to mix with Nightshade of Gladiators every week when she was young as we trained at the same Tae Kwon Do club.

What did you say to Jimmy Carter?

And by met I mean actually conversed with, not I saw robbie williams on stage once.

Not sure who is more famous but mine would be Sophie Ellis Bexter or Kelly Jones (lead singer of the stereophonics).

Both happened a few years ago now.

Sophie Ellis Bexter's child (Little ginger boy) was eating chips off my plate when I wasn't looking and she rushed over to apologise.

Was backstage waiting for Noel Gallagher to finish his set at the isle of wight, was hoping to meet him and he got ushered by with some bodyguards. Rather gutted, I strolled away before bumping into Kelly Jones who was just hanging about there for some reason. More than happy to get a picture taken, lovely bloke.

Unfortunately the lass who I got to take a picture of us on my phone was utterly hopeless and I stupidly didn't think to check the picture before he wandered off. Checked it on my way back to the boneyard and it had both of our heads cut off. Just a picture of two blokes from the neck down. Could have been anyone....
Don't tell @chunkylover53
He'll be extremely jealous.

Muhammad Ali at a training camp open session before the Bruno v Witherspoon fight. He had a very quiet voice but talked about never minding "the two that are fighting, there's a young kid, Tyson, gonna whup them all."

Steve Davis is about as normal as normal is. There's no side to him at all, just a decent bloke.

Political figures have been Gordon Brown, David Cameron, Ed Miliband and Jeremy Corbyn. All seemed to be convivial and genuine in what they wanted to achieve. You could have a conversation where you disagreed with policy and they would listen, take the points on board, and give an answer. Corbyn would write what I'd ask in shorthand too, while I was talking.

I've been stuck in a lift with the Dalai lama in the fairmont hotel in san Francisco.

The place has no bearing but I though id put it out there in the spirit of this thread.
