Aye, there's no way they'll sell now unless someone is prepared to offer them a championship price for a league one club. I mean, I'm criticising them here, but to be fair why would they? If we're worth significantly more in the league above and we're now on a run of results and, more importantly, performances that suggests we might be capable of going up, why would you rush a sale? The window will close and then it'll be all talk about how close they are, detailed discussions with good people, can't rush these things etc until they know what league we're in

Said that the comments were at a meeting where the club speak to a fans group, said we are one of the few clubs to do it. We aren't, all EFL (and I think PL but not sure) clubs are required to meet at least twice. We might do it more often but we aren't one of few to do it. Said that the meeting has to remain private because otherwise you'd just get the "usual PR guff that directors come out with at open forums", so basically if there's any talk ins etc they aren't worth attending because he's admitted it'll be full of guff.

Then just apologised if anyone was offended, said he had worse said to him during the meeting (which isn't how @Ghandi Floss described it). Generally quite a poor interview imo

I’ve said it before, but him and Donald think we’re all idiots and that they can simply lie to us. The meeting comment, again, demonstrates this.

I don’t want to get boring by repeating myself, but I’ve suggested the reasoning for their belief in our naivety seems to be based in classism.

Even the bit of the minutes that did come out from that meeting suggested it was asked once! I know they aren't verbatim but it was clear that it was early on and that he wasn't being constantly pushed on it. Must admit, you know I've been fairly balanced on the whole Donald out thing but this pointless, shit stirring, self serving interview has pissed me right off. If they look as bad as he seems to think they will on Sunderland till I die then it'll push a lot of undecided fans into the out camp. Certainly on this issue I'll be trusting our fans groups over him, what a f***ing needless interview!
