Tell me more about this
Mate said he had it but wasnt impressed. Still, we all have different tastes. Makers mark came today too. Really must resist until Sunday.I've just got a bottle as well and will be sampling tonight. Laphroaig on offer in both Sainsbury's and Morrisons (slightly cheaper IIRC) with Bowmore also on offer here.
Tobermory 12 is also one of my favoured malts and I finished my bottle over Christmas.
Couldn't agree more with this comment.Bloody horrible is Bells.

Outstanding. What time have we to come round tonight?
The boxed Laph is a 28yo I opened last weekend. Cracking dram.bastard...
lookto be some decent Ardbeg’s on middle shelf
where do you live mate ?
About 7 yearsThere doesn’t seem to be room for those poor bottles of Laphraoig at the bottom.....can always help you out with that
How long did it take you to get such a fine range of whisky?
Could have some fun with that lot
I’m in Leeds. At one point the bottles were organised by region, it’s a bit random these days. Of the Ardbegs on there the Alligator Committee Release is a favourite.

been tempted with a few of the recent committee releases...worth it ?
Maybe you’re the wrong one to ask![]()
The Laphraoig is maybe a bit out of my reach...guessing it’s rather good
I like the diplamtico reserva.Give Havana Club 7 year a try and you may have a different view as you now have with whisky.
Lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky bastard!Do like the Laphroaig QC ( often got a bottle in my stash) Not had the Corryvrecckan but have had the "Uggi" which I love.
Off to Islay in May ( not for the Feise Ile) and we're doing Ardbeg, Lagavulin, Bunnahabhain and Laphroaig over the two full days we're there....can't wait
