anything is better than what we've watched since January. the team are rancid . I doubt Parkinson could make it worse with a few new bodies. Everytime we play we get taken apart. it actually takes some doing to be this bad and I think this window is our last chance .

I don't disagree with the sentiment. I just don't like the timing. we've all been counting down the days until January to fix what should have happened in the summer... why is the timing now a good thing ?

Why on earth would you think Parky can improve anything?

He is proving every week what we all knew. He is shit. He needs to go. No alternatives.

All this talk him needing to find the money to pay the loan back. Would he have actually spent much of the money yet? What's he spent on so far, fixing a lift? I'd imagine the bulk of it would be sitting in a bank account at the moment, no?

look at the last 3 windows when they have been in charge

Parkinson shouldnt be signing anyone

he has already got rid of our most creative player, the whole thing is a farce.

It was with someone, but RR have been saying for weeks that there's "not a chance" the owners would agree to a podcast in this climate.

But after this, it's fair to say bridges have been absolutely burnt now.
 
My insomnia has had a benefit tonight. Managed to read all 25 pages in one go!

So my take on all this is we have two likely outcomes....

1 - The club continues as is and will be in administration by the start of next season if not before. SD doesn’t have the money and once parachute payments stop and ticket revenue plummets we become unsustainable as a business.

2 - FFP have played SD and will pick up the club for a ‘minimal’ fee if that’s what they actually want. I’m not convinced it is as I’m worn down by over 40 years following us and these things tend not to work out for us (God I so hope I’m wrong).

I have a very bad feeling that we’ll start next season on minus 15 points.... And I’m normally a happy clapper ☹️☹️

hasn't GOM covered that already though, if there's a default then FPP can just step in and convert the debt into Madrox shares and take the club?

It would need leverage on FPP. Donald is between a rock and a hard place. The Americans have played a blinder here. I'm making assumptions here, but if it's Donalds terms that are scuppering the progress of a deal then surely putting pressure on him is the correct thing to do.

He had like. The origins of this seasons disaster can be traced back to decisions made in the very first days of his ownership. He was only able to mask it due to Maja’s freakish conversion rate.

It's not a question of who's right or wrong or if a million people tweeted Donald out, if he decides to dig in and not sell it doesn't matter how much people protest he won't go and nobody could make him. I think that's all he/she's saying.
That said I don't think Donald is thick skinned enough to tough it out like Ashley does so a big peaceful coordinated campaign might work, but then the worry has to be if he sold up, who he sold it to, I'm not convinced FPP are waiting to get it on the cheap.
 
Donald won't go till he has either bankrupted the club or has made a profit in selling.
