She chose to reject her actual lineage and be a Skywalker at the end with Luke and Leia looking on proudly.

That's what happens at midnight showings when you nod off for a while and wake up to see Rey Skywalker with Luke and Leia watching her like proud parents. My mate said anyway!

im not sure it is... Maz only asks Solo “Whose the girl”... I think the old woman utters it to Rey at the very end but I can’t remember ?Isn't that taken from the scene with Maz whne Rey first meets her?

Nah, she asks Rey as well I think. I could be wrong like, just sure she does. They barely planned any of it out and JJ wasn't meant to be directing ep.9 so I'd be surprised if they'd planned that tiny detail.
I think it's just tying off the arc having someone else ask her the same question i.e. she has nee idea when Maz asks her. Now though she actually knows she's a Palpatine but is choosing to be a Skywalker afterall.

I think everyone agrees it looks amazing.
All 3 have looked amazing to be fair.
The battle between kylo, rey and snokes guards looked epic as fuck. It just didn't make sense and had some laughable choreography.
The fight scene was better and more in keeping with the tone on this one atleast
