Just watched on 4 7. What a fascinating programme. So many facts, and so many myths blown away. Emotional at times.
Plus Martin doing the McQueen bike stunt.
Brilliant.

It was a stuntman.
The bike was a German made one, where in fact it was a Triumph altered to suit.

those digging the tunnels did it naked...as not to dirty the clothes they wore

in case the Eric's smelt a rat..

those that were in the tunnel behind the one digging...smelt more than a rat
