The problem is we replace poor players with even worse ones. This season is just another example of how poor recruitment completely disables any chance we’ve got to move forward.

Replace Oviedo and James with Hume, Matthews with McLaughlin. Honeyman and Cattermole with Dobson etc etc

If the likes of McGeady, Maguire and McNulty want out then I for one would get shot asap. Maguire and McNulty will never play for a better club in their careers and McGeady‘s stock is on the wane anyway. He’s still got the ability to shine at this level but hasn’t shown the aptitude or ability to do so since March.

Players cannot be allowed to be bigger than the club.

Ferguson got rid of Keane and Beckham.

Once Liverpool got rid of Gerrard they went from strength to strength.

We need the management to get a hold of this bunch of players because they are theiving their money from the Club at the moment. They need to have a good look at themselves.

Surely part of the scouting for transfer targets should include attitude, personality, lifestyle.

Looks like we will be signing another notodious troublemaker in Maddison from Peterborough in January. We never learn.

Im quite sure he wont be a Rodwell as his contract isnt worth anywhere near as much but due to poor performance this year the club cant carry him for too much longer if his form doesnt improve, i imagine if a another club came in for him in Jan they would let him go on current form.

You're saying we replace poor players with even worse players, but then advocate getting shot of McGeady, Maguire and McNulty. Do you not think the same thing will just happen again?

Maguire and McNulty are poor players ! Why have neither done anything of note above L1 level. I’d be happy we could easily replace those two and couldn’t do much worse even with the current recruitment set up.

McGeady undoubtedly has talent but isn’t showing it and hasn’t been for some time.

January is a crucial month. Either Parkinson is backed and allowed to bring a group of players in that can remedy the sides failings or we’ll be in this league or worse for some time.

So we sell Maguire and McGeady, twelves months you're on here (or someone else is) bemoaning the fact that we now have a poor man's McGeady instead. And the cycle continues. I'm being pedantic to an extent but I am sure you can see the concern.

Absolutely and I share the concern, however, I’m hoping that Parkinson has the final say on transfers in January and he finally addresses the pace and strength imbalance in the side.
