McGeady and the fans exchange at FT

So much for reconnecting the players with the fans and getting the buzz back.

We have never been lower and never been more disconnected. Donald and Methven talk a good game, its just a shame the team they have left us with can't play one.

I wasn't there tonight but it's only the 4th match in all competitions I have missed this season. The fans who were there tonight are fully entitled to their opinions and McGeady should just get his head down and work to try and make things better. If he has sworn at those fans then quite frankly in my opinion, it is him who should 'fuck off'.

PS - I will be down at Gillingham in a few weeks time for the League game. I hope if McGeady has not apologised, then he does not play.

He's been shit for 99% of the season. Get rid. Donald will love the saved wages into his pocket
Wouldn’t be surprised if he went to Hibs in January. Was told on Saturday from a decent source there’s a group of players who aren’t happy and McGeady and McGuire were two of them. Always sceptical about these things but starting to think this is true.

for as much as Jack Ross was tactically inept he was by all accounts very well liked by the players

many of them have now just completely downed tools since he left

This was mentioned by some people at the time. Most chose to ignore it though and got what they wanted.

They will never own the shitfest that has resulted though. It will always be someone else's fault and Mr Donald seems to now be front of the queue. Its ironic that Donald has listened to some vocal fans and done what they asked and he now finds himself in the firing line.

I think Donald has been weak in bowing to so called supporter pressure rather than sticking with a young manager they spotted and put trust in.

The players liked and respected Ross. You don't have to be a master tactician to see the effect him leaving the club has had. There has been nothing positive since Ross left.

Its written all over the players body language and also the results and 'performances'. Prepare for further cheap replacements to our better players in January and a continuation of a steep and steady decline.

I could not give less of a fuck if every first teamer bar O’Nien left and we played the kids and whoever we bring in In January.

What an absolute clusterfuck of a season. The worst ever for the club and fans by miles.

The horrendous vibe from the club just keeps getting more horrendous.

Our kids are bottom of everything, if we play them then its league two for us next season.

Didn’t Kevin Ball tell a Sunderland fan to fuck off at a recent talk-in?

Not in an abusive context , no, if it’s the one i’m thinking of.
It was fuck off as in ‘haddaway and shite, man, take his drink off him’’ in response to a daft comment.
Tongue in cheek, nothing more.

It could be L2 regardless. This lot have finished with SAFC and don’t want to be here.
A blend of our better kids and some new players might just work out, who knows...
The fans are handing their money to players who don’t give a toss. Parkinson will never fix this situation in a million years, the club is too broken.

Didn’t see them stepping up vs. Lincoln and Peterborough for the manager they loved so dearly.

So we should have kept Ross to keep McGeady and Maguire happy?.....dear me!
