Talking sense to me. Think he tried to get the Americans buy ownership but they wanted to be more cautious. Secured money in a loan which would always need something to secure it and the stadium etc is all we have, can’t secure it against the players. If it’s goes tits up the Americans own the club if it goes well I think the Americans own the club. Only difference is SD and mates lose if it goes tits up.
I don’t get why the said it was never a takeover tho but obviously have spoken about. Just hope it all works out

He’s talking in semantics. Sunderland A.F.C. Ltd isn’t in debt but Madrox is.

However he’s being completely disingenuous because the only assets Madrox has are the club and the stadium.

The liability lies with the shareholders of Madrox, if they default on a loan of £9 million they lose the entire club, and the shareholders of Madrox are still liable for the money.
Someone was saying on another board that the documentation states that SD and his other companies are liable too.

The yanks have really played hardball over the money.

Marco spoke well actually.
Who's this nuggett? Something to look forward to ffs?
