The Mandalorian.

Mandalorian looks cool, anything non-Jedi related and set in the run-down corners of the SW universe is right up my street. Could do with out the Kenobi thing though

oooh, and they've already confirmed a second series of The Mandalorian, and Ming-Na Wen is going to be in it :D

Same for me. I've much preferred the two one off Star Wars universe stories in the latest films to those from the main series. Might just be that I don't like Kylo Ren/Adam Driver, of course.

I anly found out mesell last week like.
So it starts streaming on November 12th, but anly in the US, as the new Disney thingy doesn't start over here 'til 2020.

Don't think I'm interested in a Disney streaming service like.
Me neither. I'm hoping when it comes out, it is something you can sign up for on a month by month basis, like netflix, spotify etc, rather than the long locked in periods sky and phone companies have (which often relate to the hardware). I'd be happy keeping netflix but sign up to Amazon Prime for a month to watch the new Trek when all episodes are available, then get Disney for a month to watch this. Drop it again and pick it up a year later for the next one.

Anyone worked out how to get Disney + app next week??? Tried the VPN trick but the website just gets stuck on a loading screen.

The USA website has it as $6.99 p/m or $69.99 for the year.

for disney to go against the accepted "internet streaming model" would mean they think their content is good enough to reel people in - not convinced myself.

sounds like they're following everyone else which kinda makes sense...
