T20 World Cup in 11 months time. Need to start getting our arses in gear and plan for that. Will many of this lot be going to Oz for that?

Yeah me too he looks like a class act, hope if he doesn’t do the business straightaway that they keep selecting him and give him time, tbf the England set up now as opposed to years ago does do that.

And they would play absolutely

but pay has nothing to do with fatigue

if they played let’s say you get 95% out of them, or 100% after a rest. Money doesn’t bridge that 5% in a sport of small margins

I can understand why they've been rested but my opinion is that if you have to have squads like the one we've got for this T20 series then it shouldn't be played at all. Either play the best players or don't play at all. There's far too much international cricket being played currently so losing series like this will only help.

ECB could be done on Trade description legislation surely for agreeing to play an International series then turning out a team far below their recognised XI. I've already paid for tickets for the IT20 v Aussies,I'd be annoyed if they turned out a team minus say Warner, Smith, Stark , Cummins etc.

Crazy isn't it. We here a lot being said about too much cricket being played across the board but very little actually being done. In fact, we see the opposite happening where more cricket is added to the calendar!
