Because it totally negates how loans work.

He has no idea of the terms of the loan for all we know FPP have demanded where the money is spent

Plus the current ownership team won't be their long if they don't get us promoted sharpish
Is that a wild guess or a fact?

how? they are ,only putting £10m in..if they convert £10m it wouldnt get them a majority of the shares..current owners would still have that..so couldnt be driven out..

Incidentally, the first reference I remember from anyone to a loan type arrangement (it seemed strange at the time) was from @blanco

Here's what he said at the time which may add a bit of meat to the bones:

Some investment will come in and it'll be announced 24-48hrs, from MSD
Sec loan and resources to take the club back to big time at which point they'll take control
Things are too small fry currently for them to be overly excited
But this will work for everyone

nope..its already been earmarked..
and if SD did want to bororw £10m off them personally-and madfrox is his personally business..it would be none of your business...safc is no on the hook for this money..SD personally is.. not safc..there is now downside
So goes the same way as the para payments. WATTBA.
well over £10m ahas been put in by these guys..
Well where is it?

the para payments went to pay sbc corporation..we dont owe them any moeny now..
of course the cash came via madrox..madrox own safc..
it had to go there. really one way or the other..
So all this money flying about goes nowhere near to helping the team, the thing that matters. Yes the club matters but, and I'm so wanting to be proved wrong on this, it seems as if money is just being channelled through the club into other accounts.

and what if they want their “loan” back, we are still in league 1 next season and current owners can’t afford to either pay “loan” back or continue to invest to get us promotion?

It sounds like good news, and will hopefully end up with us having new owners at some point. Lets wait for the detail first though, you are just guessing

haha!

I reckon I like the current owners less than you do, but today is great news. Can't wait to see us signing a boat load of kids for the academies and a few players for the first team in January. Plus I wonder what they meant by taking the fan experience to the next level. Maybe those theme park rumours were true

Bring your own cushion.

That's if it's convertible which it may not be.

Failure to keep up with the repayments would mean the club would belong to FPP
