What it will be secured against, Why would three American business men throw £10m at something they know nothing about, it might happen every day in business, so does businesses collapsing, I'd like to think that's not going to happen to SAFC, like I say it sounds dodgy.
secured against the assets of madrox..ie safc..ie if madrox dont pay the loan back..the amercians take over the ownership of safc..which is what you want anyway-them to own safc?

the americans know plenty about it..they did due diligence etc..

Mag Media posting this is a loan, can someone squash this as soon as possible so I can get back to celebrating?

You have to file one of those if you're proposing a cancellation of a share premium account and/or a reduction in share capital. Both of those things are also happening.

Is this perhaps a rationalisation of the shares from when Ellis Short ended up with a really random number of shares after he put equity into the club a few years ago?

Investment is good news. It just needs to be managed correctly with the right people making the calls at the AOL and recrutiment areas. Not sure I am so optimistic with Reid, Cotton and Donald himself making all the big boss calls.
Me too. I've been very critical of the whole set up recently. In Donald's defence he could argue a lot of time has been focused on sorting this investment and now he night have the time, and resource, to address these issues and make improvements. Let hope so. It's certainly a positive step though.

Would like clarity moving forward. If it is this, what's the conditions ? Promotion? If we don't achieve, who is liable for repayment? Doubt it will be just wrote of as a bad investment.

Imo it's highly likely that the conditions under which this is being done will have been the main reason for the apparent delay in getting this over the line.
There will have been a lot of "what ifs".

I'm hearing that this shouldn't have been published until tomorrow.

Would explain the lack of a statement on safc.com, would have thought they'd have wanted to put it out first with all the details they're prepared to give, rather than having it come out piecemeal. Hopefully frantically getting the statement out now, will be good to hear it from the club

Hopefully a much needed positivity injection throughout the club players and fans.
6 nowt Saturday would be a nice start being it on

It's a bit more radical than that. I need to see the detail. It doesn't look like something that Donald would have instigated, or else he'd have done it earlier. I've heard hints that the Americans were doing some serious tax and capital structure planning. This would sit with that.

Doesn't really matter considering the people making the decisions with how ever much has been invested haven't got a f***ing clue what to do with it, we have had the biggest budget for the last 2 seasons and we are still shit, simple fact as long as we are ran by 2 clowns we'll always be a f***ing circus
