The Rise of "Unreal"

Why is this such a buzzword now? I keep seeing and hearing it everywhere. Being incorrectly used instead of unbelievable. It doesn't even make sense. "The chicken kebab was unreal!" So it didn't exist? Morons. Anybody using "unreal" ironically in response is basically admitting they nosh dogs

Years ago I hated the word tack instead of dope.

Not that I hate it but when people say ‘away’ to kids meaning come here seems daft.

Obviously when they’re all used in their new meanings. I have no problem with someone referring to a Lion as a savage animal; I have a problem with someone calling their mate a savage for slagging off someone.

Agreed. Absolutely used instead of yes is very irritating.
The massive overuse of 'like' is so painful to my ears - some people can use the word 4 or 5 times in a single sentence.
Hate the expression 'curry house' instead of Bangladeshi restaurant - it's like calling a French restaurant a 'sauce home'.
