I’ve not seen that anywhere. It’s blatantly obvious we’re crying out for investment. Not just the playing side, but the academy, the infrastructure. We have no scouting network. Even the other day, smaller things like the state of the executive areas being so tatty. It all adds up.
IF we were to go up we’d be straight back down. No matter how buoyant a team can get (and one result doesn’t mean a thing), it always reaches a point it’s not enough on its own.

This was in an article in the Echo entitled "FPP Sunderland closing in on investment deal" one week ago.
So expect it to be done next week at the earliest..or the week after. Never expect it to be done when they say it will be done. We know Stuart Donald works to a different time to the rest of us. What is a week to us is probably a month to him.
