People turning on Parkinson after 1 game

Parkinson wasn't in charge for Lincoln

I'm totally blaming the players for our last 2 pathetic performances

They're f***ing clueless
You are spot on Hank, tbh yesterdays game was scrappy and awful, Wycombe wasted so much time at every opportunity again just like last season. After their goal they got a corner which took them 90 odd seconds to take due to crap garn on in the box which they started. Fair play to them if it gets them results but they wont stay up the top. Parkinson cannot be fully blamed for yesterday but certain players are not up for it at the minute, i must admit i was not impressed seeing wyke up top alone and At times our midfielders were very poor and that is a key area to winning games. He needs to find a best 11 fast and stick to it and get a run of games going. Massive game on Tue against Tranmere, i would play Grigg and McNulty and go for it. The bloke is gonna be under pressure as no one really wanted him but he is here and we need to get behind him.

He’s got six league games in just over a month.

Tranmere (H)
Shrewsbury (A)
Southend (H)
Bristol Rovers (A)
Coventry (H)
Burton (H)

That takes us to November 26th let’s see where we are then.

18 points if the players can be bothered to dee their jobs properly

It absolutely bizarre. It's like certain people seem to think that a manager has a playstation controller on the sidelines, controlling the team. "Ah he's shite at this, he can't even beat Whickham!"

Entitlement, that's what it is. Social media has made too many people think their opinion is worth something despite them being thick impatient twats.

Completely embarrassing. I see so much on here about how great our fans are. Many of them are so impulsive and reactionary they make it hard for anyone who comes into any post at the club to have a real go at a job. We're rebuilding after free falling into Division 1 ffs; we have the worst players in our history. None of this is of the new manager's making. Can we just give him a go and back him?
I’ve said for ages as a collective our hard earned reputation as a fantastic supporter base is massively tarnished by a significant bunch of selfish self entitled morons. we still get great numbers but what a bunch of arseholes we are becoming as a collective

Very poor yesterday and worried at how many long balls we played, especially by Lynch but he’s only had two days. He’ll now have a better idea on players and positions etc. I am sure we shall see a different set up on Tuesday. McGeady more central perhaps?

If McGeady is going to play like he has done these past few games, he wouldn't even be on the bench for me.

I’ve said in another thread, what do people expect after 2 days with the lads. He needs to change the culture give him support. What’s the point getting on his back straight away.
Weve had a full international break to get a manager in and to give him some time to assess the squad etc.... however the owner has gave him the least amount of time to prepare and ultimately but him straight on the back foot. Poor by Donald yet again, his ownership has been very poor.

In terms of who they interviewed, why was there so much weight on league one experience, as if this was the holy grail of getting out of the league? The teams in this league aren’t that good, but we will end up playing league one shithousery rather than imposing ourselves.

There was no imagination in the shortlist, no Steve Bould type coach character, no manager who we had researched and tracked for months. It was a list of possibles from a narrow field and we ended up with the one very few wanted. We can only try to get behind him and hope we can clutch something from this.

Well yeah that’s it, the 3 that went up last year didn’t have league 1 promotion on their CV prior to the season starting.

There’s clearly reason to be worried after that performance mind.

2 days isn’t enough time to get a system in place, to improve defensive positioning, to get a “style of play” implemented etc etc.

Having said that, it should be enough time to get everyone “up for it” - there’s enough time for him to put a rocket up them.

Players should be up for it every game, we all know that, but the fact they didn’t seem up for a managers first game worries me tbf.

That’s not the new managers fault then is it

WTF?

His approach is utter f***ing garbage. We looked far more lost today than we ever did under Ross.....and I agree he should have gone.

We've somehow ended up with someone far worse.

Even based on an dull list they picked the worst and most divisive.

If he has a similar start to the one he had at Charlton it might spare us all a disastrous waste of time.

If walking about the technical area looking clueless is the baseline requirement I'll do it for even less than this loser.
We may not agree with it but it's clear what he's going for. If effective it'll work in this league too. Not saying I like it just saying it's obvious what he's trying to achieve. Couldn't always say that with other managers we've had.
