At a basic level it is that easy. There are several layers to setting up a team, but getting the right formation and style of play should be an absolute given for a football manager within 10 seconds of entering a club. I’m not asking him to have perfect corner routines, integrated defence coverage and complex, fluid attacking regimes, but haway man it isn’t hard to see long ball won’t work with Grigg up front

Give me one positive from today or since he’s joined that suggests he deserves another chance? He’s already had one which he blew setting up his team as he did today

This is Grayson mk2 all over. Should have brought in a manager with a recent winning record. Not one who’d just come from a club relegated and in admin. For a club like ours to be run in this fashion just isn’t right. It will only end in one thing.

Mate, I have said several times he cannot be judged on 1 game with 1 training session before hand.

We are entitled to have different opinions

Not seen anything of you before on here but I can clearly see why you are not liked. If I remember correctly a previous post on this thread mentioned something about being on ignore, great advice which I’m willing to follow.

Of course he can. He can also be judged on a whole footballing career before he joined us. To make such fundamental footballing mistakes in game one means he isn’t up to the job, period.
