Eventually we will as it will only take us so far.

Personally I'm sick to the back teeth of watching safe, percentages football. I've had enough of it.

If he gets us out of this division, though...

I mean, look, nobody wants to be here. Nobody wants to watch ugly football. But the most important thing at the moment is getting out of League One. We move on after that happens, yeah? If you want to watch beautiful football right now, you can watch Barcelona or some shite to wash the safe' percentages football we're likely to play out of your eyes.

I've been attending games since 1984, don't be preaching to me about going elsewhere to see good football. I want to see it from my club.

It f***ing wasnt though.

I go to the match with 10 people and 1 person wanted him out. The rest wanted to give him time. None of them hardly ever go anywhere near this place. Is that representative of a sample?

And had we known who we were going to get to replace him, how many would have been so keen to get him out?

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't happy with a lot of things about the Ross situation, and the Bolton and Lincoln performances were his downfall, but i am not sure why this change has been made unless things in the dressing room were worse than appeared.

So you and your chums are more representative than 1,000 people posting on here, aye OK mate.

i’ll support him like any manager as will majority of fans imo, but it won’t take much for fans to turn on him after a few bad results / performances

lets hope he comes in and surprises us all

I'll support him 100%. Ultimately we need to go up and if it's PP there's nowt we can do about it. Just need to get behind him and hope it works.

I'll say this though, I don't think it's a good appointment, and I'm very unsure as to whether he'll get us up and even more so about whether he can do anything in the league above. With hindsight Ross was a poor appointment, the recruitment looks poor; if Donald brings PP in (when almost everyone thinks there's better options), doesn't get good investment over the line and doesn't get us up this season then he's done here. As owner he's got to get the big decisions right, if this one is wrong he'll have to admit he's done a very bad job on the footballing side and should be looking to get out as soon as he can find a decent buyer, without any obstacles or wanting to stay on in any capacity.

Until then, however, all we can do is support, and hope
