I thought you would have been pretty familiar with the story behind their success. Beck was ahead of his time tbf and was renowned for using statistics in games. The only thing is those statistics were to show how to make the fewest number of passes to score.

No...
The unearthed skeleton of the late Kenneth Williams, controlled with a series of ropes and pulleys.

More animated than Ross then.

Following Sunderland's impressive 3-0 win away, putting them firmly at the top of League One and on course for promotion, the long-dead comedic actor was optimistic but cautious in his post-match interview.

"As a previously interred stalwart of the Carry On Franchise, I'm well aware that the season doesn't end until the last game of the season and have drilled this into my players, emphasising these points with a creepy bony finger and my trademark laugh which has now taken on a rather foreboding nature given that I am a creature of the undead and have no skin."

Anyone from RTG … we all know fuck-all, really.

Nope. Plenty I'd have no time for but it'd take a lot more than the manager to stop me going. Was talking to two mags just this last week , 1 a mate and 1 family. Both lapsed SC holders and both regretting it. I'd feel the same.

I remember reading somewhere that they made the groundsmen leave the grass to grow longer in the corners of the pitch to hinder opposition players getting elevation on the ball. Might have imagined that, but that's absolutely genius. I think we need a bit more than marginal gains but it's genius nevertheless.

EDIT - it's mentioned in the article
