I suspect some of what you say may be true. If so he sold his silence for 6 months extra pay and a payoff.

That’s a good point, Does that say a lot for his integrity or as you say protects the bank balance. Most managers would be heavily into protecting their reputation by now.

I agree with him, we are no better than anyone in this league, we should not think promotion is a gimee, expectations far to high. Ross was sacked rightly or wrongly by SD based on potential, I think the pressure applied by supporters online did not help the players or JR cause.

I’m not really sure what you mean by no better. We have pretty much every advantage you could hope to have at this level.

What gives us the god given right to assume promotion, JR was dealt a shit sandwich and asked to polish it up, I’m not sure any new manager could do much more with our squad. Sorry in my opinion they are not up to promotion, can’t help but think there is an element of smoke and mirrors behind the scene, his sacking might be a shit deflector for what is happening at our club.

Win our game in hand and we are 1 point off automatic promotion, promotion anyway was what mattered under JR we would have been close.

He put the squad together though. We have the most expensively assembled squad, the highest wage bill, the biggest stadium, the most fans, the best training facilities etc.
Don’t know what you mean by smoke and mirrors.
