SecondedNice bait.
till the end of the season
Not 'like'! It 'Is' groundhog day on hereIt’s like f***ing ground hog day on here.
Short termism at its bestI might or might not agree, but when the fuck was Jack Ross ever up to managing SAFC?
First step for me is getting out of this league and I doubt it'll be done by some tactical genius, look around: determination, fight, unity and positivity are massive at this level.
Everytime Ball has been caretaker we've had fight and positivity, even if we've also been a bit naïve.
Oh deartill the end of the season
Not been involved in day to day coaching and managing for about six yearsGive me one good reason why not?

You’ve said yourself he’s not tactically astute. Bollocking players and shouting at them to get stuck in will only get you so farName me a serious long term manager suggestion at this level.
Name me someone who has the character or experience not to freeze under the pressure and expectation.
It needs to be a short term appointment, because we need short term results i.e. promotion. Talk about long term ones all you like, that's apparently what Ross - positive and forward thinking was alleged to be and he delivered none of that. That's because we're fishing in a pond where most wont bite or the ones that will have already been caught, barring something a bit left field.
One win in 12/13 when he has done it .Give me one good reason why not?
Got a tune out of him when we pressed for an hour and then got picked off . Champion2006 was a a write off
and two losses to Man U and Liverpool?
Hardly worth writing him off is it?
iirc he was the only manager to get any kind of tune of of giacherinni. Playing him as a no 10
Na, were getting BSA.

I know someone who coached at the club when ball was there. Beyond dishing out bollockings he had little else to offer by all accountsThat's a quite lazy comment as well. Jordan Pickford and others wouldn't suggest that was even the case. People are keep harping on about Allardyce as if there's ever a chance he'd come back for the slog, yet Allardyce was a similar no nonsense player, yet was quite advanced in some of the techniques he uses. Strong characters, with a positive mentality, maybe with the experience of being at a bigger club is 100% the way we should be looking, be it Ball or someone else. We do not need another highly rate manager coming here and trying to be too clever and making unnatural choices because it's too big for them when pressure hits.
Least of all Bally!![]()
Nobody will be daft enough to bite
The game has moved on mate since then.Time to rectify that ?
I dont see the problem. Despite common perception, everytime he has had it, there has been a relative upturn in performance or result.
Too many folk think the future of this club relies upon a manager.
