Yes - we really should expect better than that.

He also says that the assumption that the squad is one of the best in the league needs to be removed and Ross is getting as much out of them as they're capable of.
Bolton didn't have more quality we were awful but we had more chances than they didSick of being shit on by a bunch of gimps telling me what my expectations should be.
We are in league 1 and getting outplayed by a bunch of piss poor sides. The football is abysmal and we are paying to watch it. If you can’t enjoy football in league 1 then fuck me sideways, might as well wrap it in. Bolton put their team together in literally a day of the transfer window and looked to have more quality than us. Embarrassing.
Sick of being told where we have came from 17 month ago too, they literally blew promotion with 8 games to go last season and also blew it in the play off final even though the other team kicked the ball in their own net.
Embarrassing someone is talking about expectations in league 1. Donald even said we were in a really good position to give it a really good go & we had to go up this year. His actions in the summer and by not sacking JR just say to me that’s a bunch of waffle. I’m supposed to lie here and take it because we are Sunderland and should be grateful to be afloat in league 1. This lad must be so up Ross’ hoop he can taste what he had for breakfast.
That was my first thought. He took a very similar stance in the last few weeks of Moyes.Wow. He really said that? So, he's shifting the blame to the owner for not providing the manager with a squad good enough? Fuck me
Said on the latest RR podcast I'm reading on Twitter....
Who mentioned 100 points? Who mentioned 20 clean sheets? Who came out and said there was no excuses this time? It wasnt the fans james...
Also the same journalist who questioned why the fans thought we had money to spend. Maybe because the week before the owner said on a podcast we did and had bids out.
Fans fault again though? Pisses me right off honestly.
It’s because they have more ability. What on earth makes you think our players are technically superior to the opposition? That may be a matter of opinion, but what isn’t is our lack of pace and physical presence.Funny how teams with far less ability can keep clean sheets and be above us then.
Have you ever thought that the reason some of these teams are better, that maybe it’s because they have not changed managers every 12 months and had our upheaval and high turnover of players?Funny how teams with far less ability can keep clean sheets and be above us then.
Blah blah blah. Barnsley had a new boss and signed more players than we did and went up 2nd.Have you ever thought that the reason some of these teams are better, that maybe it’s because they have not changed managers every 12 months and had our upheaval and high turnover of players?
Wait till ross goes and see how much we improve. It’s because they have more ability. What on earth makes you think our players are technically superior to the opposition? That may be a matter of opinion, but what isn’t is our lack of pace and physical presence.
I think quite a number expect us to win football matches like Saturday, sadly we are quite an average League 1 side, as soon as they realise that the better.
Owners and manager said target is 100 points and promotion.Fans want to win every game
Well you have a 50% chance of winning a game if you keep a clean sheet. No one mentioned a thing about clean sheets. That was Jack Ross.I wish people would stop going on about f***ing clean sheets, they don't win you football matches if you can't score goals.
