James hunter apparently reckons the fans have unrealistic expectations

He also says that the assumption that the squad is one of the best in the league needs to be removed and Ross is getting as much out of them as they're capable of.

Just listened to it’s a very good podcast, miles better than the shite they’ve been churning out lately, I Like Phil Smith he speaks well

He will be first up the clubs arse when he is sacked.

He loved Moyes

Did wonder if there was an element of self interest there. If he’s in tight with Jack Ross then it makes some sense why he’s reluctant to go to print with what now the majority of the fans feel about the situation.

Pretty poor from him if true.

In the Premier league we barely expected a point never mind a win
In the Championship we rarely expected anything away from home but would expect occasional wins at home.
In L1 surely we should at least expect to be competing against a Club that was non league a few years since or is that too much expectation?

:lol::lol::lol::lol:

How are wycombe and Fleetwood etc managing to surpass their limit then.
And we were played off the pitch by a side that conceded something like 28 goals in six games and another that had the worst form in the football league and had just lost to an under 21 team.

Embarrassing

If we’re in League One next season I’m out.

I seem to remember you saying you'd only be doing MK Dons away this season.....how many have you done so far;)

Keep the f***ing faith marra.....you know it makes sense. These fuckers don't deserve our support, but it's what we do....support our team.

The journey home from Lincoln Saturday evening was a morbid one after watching that display, but woke up this morning, booked my Shrewsbury tkt, and the buzz started for this one, yet it's 3 weeks away.

Yes, it's hard right now.....but don't let them grind you down.....remember.....

WE ARE SUNDERLAND  FTM

What a load of shite, if this is the best they're capable of then we are getting relegated.

The only people with Unrealistic expectations are the club, do they really expect people to pay money to watch the shit they've served up year after year, gates of 30k in the poxy third division, get real SAFC, this won't last with the crap the fans have to put up with.

I think some fans have a blind arrogance regarding our stature and the players we have within the league we are in. I don't think it is expectations I think it is pure arrogances.
I think you are way off there. The last thing Sunderland fans are is arrogant - we have accepted the near death of our club as we spiral through the leagues without so much as a protest outside of booing the players off. Them up the road carried a f***ing coffin through the streets after their manager resigned. We have a HUGE amount of reason to complain, but we don't, not publicly anyway. We are a PL club that finds itself in L1 with a squad made up of players capable of playing the Championship. It is neither arrogant nor unrealistic to expect this club to get promoted from this league
