I think you and the mods do an outstanding job, Rog.

For comparison, I am a member of an american football forum. The mods there ban folks for the most minor of issues.

Plus, they created a sticky thread a couple weeks ago announcing they were banning game threads and that any posters attempting to start a game thread would be banned.

I am currently banned as I was one (of many) that let them know that banning game threads is really not a good moderator stance to take or a good idea at all. They banned the first few pages of posters that responded with critical feedback.

They have since canceled their plans to ban game threads, as the entire forum went ballistic. It was not just a few (as I am sure you can imagine.)

I know people complain that resident mags get handled too softly here, but that's certainly debatable and a minor point in the big scheme.

Anyways, my point is there's plenty of poorly moderated forums around.

This isn't one of them.

And your reply to Wearside Wanderer was insulting yet you then step back with the term insult, like he is the instigator. Ha'way mate. The lad made a comment on the thread, which isn't the best thread we have had on here, you call him out, and provokingly so in my humble opinion, you then take the insult line. Have no beef with you, but that exchange is why this thread is shite mate.

They said either it was made up or the information provided was off the mark?

Whilst those informing obviously had the best intentions, those who expressed reservations and were hammered for it were.... well kind of right.

Obviously, instead of anyone saying yea fair enough, they still continue to hammer the naysayers.

True, cliques are one thing, there are some though that are cliques by definition, however I would prefer they are seen and not heard.
