I’ve little doubt that the poster was being told something. I think some of what he has been told may be far fetched and some of it completely inaccurate. But the only damage that is done for people over this is if they decided to take it at its absolute face value. Thats their own daft fault.

It’s turned into a shambles because of the rumour mill which (1) over promised on likely completion (2) pretended there were sieve like leaks in what would be a confidential process and (3) caused ridiculous over-reaction amongst the more bi-polar of our fans here.

There was the same but opposite over-reaction when the mags takeover was mooted. If it happens, great. If it doesn’t, so be it. Deals fall over.

Majority of it has with small snippets haven’t think my post says 99.99 meaning a very very small percentage is factual.

Believe me Ive been on the end of some fairly snide comments from the poster in question before, and that was just over the quality or lack of quality in our squad. If there was an opportunity to stick the boot in where it was warranted I’d probably take it but I genuinely believe that he was posting with good intentions from a source he trusted. Some of it may still turn out to be accurate but a lot of it seems to be a little bit blustery.

I think the price is agreed, from what Stewart Donald tweeted, but the buying process is ongoing and not as close as we thought.
 
Personally, I'm quite happy that details are not as clear cut as we have been told. It shows the club has tightened up immensely. Deals like this should not be public knowledge as they are in negotiation. Imagine as a prospective owner buying a business if you found out every detail of what was going on (I know that is not exactly the case) was broadcast on a message board as it happened. It wouldn't inspire confidence.
 
Has anyone factored in the £20M black hole in the accounts? These guys won’t overlook that. Which leaves the Duck in a weak position. It isn’t going to happen, folks.

1-2 weeks is close to be fair, Donald was just stating it’s not done as he’s clearly got knowledge some bullshitters are leading people on saying it is.
