I'm not having a go at him as such, just saying I can understand the frustration of certain people. He was sold duff information it seems and a lot of people have built their hopes up on the back of that.

Well what we know from him and life is that they’ve agreed a price, they’re happy with the books and the financial position of the club, they’ve registered a company for purchase, they’ve been to the club at least once, they’ve put time, money and activity into a potential purchase, it’s above 50/50 that they’ll buy it, it’ll take 1-2 weeks and they all love Huevos Rancheros. Things seems pretty positive to me.

Don’t believe that a bloke on a message board has inside knowledge

The way people went on that thread was mad

There’s a reason people don’t believe tip offs n wanna wait till it’s actually done in official channels you know.
 
With so many reputable outlets reporting that it's pretty much done over the last few weeks, begs the question why the club didn't take action to quash the rumours.

Surely they could see that fans have had their Hope's raised through the ceiling? Will be a hammer blow to the fan base if it doesn't happen now.

You're always going to get that, unfortunately, especially in this social media age. I suppose I admire his putting his head above the parapet but perhaps it's time to duck it back down.

It really doesn’t though. Summits happened in the last 2 weeks. 2 weeks ago they were registering a company, people were printing t shirts and the mood was very positive. Now we have the owner saying nothing is done. Maybe there has been a last minute snag and who knows how it will play out.

if people are so dedicated to hanging onto the every word of an online poster rather than just take it as a bit of fun and games then they should probably look a bit closer to home than the person posting the info. Take what people post with a pinch of salt and just go with the flow. If it doesn’t materialise exactly as has been said then so what?

unless someone has insinuated that someone has kicked the bucket when they haven’t and there’s not even an ounce of truth in it....that warrants a pile on :lol:
