It was leaked ages ago and still we have heard fuck all from the club that it could be happening. f***ing disgrace imho and I've been calm about this till now.
To call people " fannies " at this point is a bit harsh.

We should be going to the stadium tomorrow in numbers and backing the team to the hilt to show that we are worth investing in.. All the negativity is the one thing that might put them off.

This! It's getting farther from being a done deal by everyday the passes now. Can't think of any logical reason why it would take this long.

Logically, I think it's more likely to be getting closer day by day. I doubt these blokes would be wasting valuable time & money on a potential deal that was garn neewhere. It's more likely, to me, that they'd have pulled up stumps ages agan, saving themselves a packet in the process. They're doing a meticulous job & we're mare used to folk deein by the seat of their pants. It's a no lose job anyway. If it happens, champion, if not we're nee wess off.

Even if the deal with the Dell boys doesn’t happen; I have every confidence in SD finding the investors we need to take us forward.
There will be plenty of suitors who have identified us as a club worth investing in.
The bit reported about SD saying he “doesn’t know if they want us” suggests that the fundamentals of the deal haven’t been agreed yet - if he wants to stay in some capacity and they want him out then obviously a deal might not be happening. It’s his club and he will find other rich investors such as the O’Briens who will allow him to continue his involvement with the club if need be.
I’m sure that SD sees this deal as the opportunity to set himself up for life financially - and you can’t blame him for that even if it threatens the deal with Dell.
