I just thought it was stupid. I got a text off someone just before I went to bed saying things were starting to happen. Next morning I woke up to an ALS article saying ‘takeover confirmed’ with that Sundelland picture. I was excited as fuck, couldn’t wait to read the official confrontation. Now call me a pedant but confirmed means on SAFC.com. The headline was ridiculous.

I guess i was asking about the address. It appeared as if you were implying that they couldn't use the landfill as an address as they don't own the ground. If that is the case then surely the Yanks using the SOL as their address is significant?

He's said a lot of stuff that hasn't come to pass. Good faith or not, I can't get my head around the apparent cult of personality that has sprung up around him. I think that speaks volumes for the clientele on here, to be honest. I hope it comes off, but I'm believing fuck all more from here until it's done and dusted. Shades of Dennis Longhorn.

Ah gotcha.

The assumption I made was that because Newcastle don’t own their ground, that any company involved would be unable to register their company there.

Whereas we do own our ground, so the current owners/yanks can use our address.

That’s my limited understanding and I could be totally wrong.

It is a takeover but takeovers rarely come with a fanfare, a press conference and a brouchure. I'm glad we are keeping the unparalleled success Jack Ross has achieved in Europe underwraps.
