Aye, you've got to ask yourself - what has been revealed tonight that could not have been posted on forums or live streamed? No need for any of the putting phones in a cupboard malarkey with what has been said so far!
 
Couple of quotes from SD there are very worrying. He could have just remained tight lipped which tells me there’s major concerns. Quotes about 50/50 and other buyers, people are correct to be concerned after that imo, only natural.

That is the thing for me actually. If he has said that, he is either playing off those currently known to be interested against others, (unlikely surely?) which in turn would suggest that they are not as far down the line as many had thought. SD himself had said many weeks ago that "hugely exciting" developments", were in the offing, implying an imminent deal, but it seems he has felt unable unable even to repeat that tonight.

Whatever, it looks there has been a change of some kind. Those posting what they have heard have had no reason at all to do so unless that had full belief in what they themselves had been told. But we'll know soon enough, and it doesn't need to be the mega deal often fantasised by us all to be a good deal. A step forward will be a welcome one, and as many including myself have often said, what do rich men want to hoy their money away on a football club for anyway!
 
If what is being posted is what SD has said I cannot believe he has allowed this to fester for 3 weeks. He could have nipped all this frenzy in the bud by saying exactly what he said tonight 3'weeks ago.
Not good on his part.

It still feels like it might happen to me. Sad that people got loads of shit for questioning Reiver a few weeks back though.

I wish it was actually done back then and people didn't feel it need to embellish.

Tbf like he will! if you believe SD that it’s not done that is.... all we’re left with is that there are some takeover talks happening and it’s 50:50.I can get that from the echo!

like I say - people post in good faith, so shouldn’t be pilloried. BUT at the same time it does reset the expectations a bit
