I’ve been told that senior people are being let go because the takeover is complete. Once that’s done it’ll be announced. I know for a 100% fact someone in a very senior position (but not a Director) is leaving today. But I’ve no idea when the announcement is coming

FFS, who will iron the new sponsor onto the shirts now?

Netflix are back!? I thought they had stopped filming...? It would be amazing if it was today. Been excited for so long I’m getting chest pains

Definitely this reply ;)

We were talking to one of the Netflix camera crew on the tube up to Wembley and he said there wouldn't be a new series, but he was expecting a happy ending which didn't happen - perhaps the ending is now the takeover.

It dosen't... the take over will be all done and dusted and clearing of the old guard has started and in with the new. Chill out
I reckon this. Getting rid of people following a takeover in any business is fought with difficulties as employees have legal protections and you can't just make people redundant.

I really do think the timing of the news of the Newcastle Takeover is dirty tactics propoganda at its highest level. Sunderland are immenently going to become one of the richest owned clubs in world football and stories have came out that Dell and co. Were on the cusp of buying Newcastle (allegedly) before a mysterious Arab put in a higher offer! Newcastle have just had their lowest attendance in 10 years so the timing of this stinks to high heaven (this is simply just to appease them lot up the road and get them to go out and buy peter kenyon face masks and memrobilia in the short term while our takeover is announced and settles down)
They can keep their £50 million to spend, peasants

Lots of clues too..
Mags takeover story
Netflix setting up last night
Talk in tomorrow where Donald said he'd answer questions.

Leo Pearlman said last week that his crew haven't been recording this season, but that if there was a takeover they would be there to capture some insightful footage. Fingers crossed it was netflix and not Tyne Tees.

The black and white flash was shown again in the late 70s and/or early 80s. Sparks out of the back of the space craft, a lot of desert scenes iirc.

It was quite good as our grandad remembered it from when he was younger. My parents would go to the ‘tiv’ (Tivoli?) at Herrington burn in the 40s/50s.
I remember those Saturday mornings. I had nightmares about the clay men, appearing out of the cave walls.
At least we had Roy Rogers (with Dale Gordon) and Hopalong Cassidy.
Happy days.
