Tbf the article didn’t commit to anything more than that! Didn’t say it was done, didn’t say timescale was definite. just said it was going well and a broad timescale. Turns out that was a valid position in early September. It was a shit paper aswell - an express or mail type.

Loads are saying they don't think it'll be a big story but I tend to differ. If they've got big plans, and if they confirm Dell is involved in some capacity I imagine it would be quite a big story. Not main item in a sports page maybe, but it would be the richest group ever to take over an English football club wouldn't it? You'd think that would be worth covering for national papers etc, even if on an inside page!

Tbf if that was a wind up by mags you’d have to take your hat off to them. Pretty amazing effort into a wind up!. it isn’t though. So wouldn’t worry too much!!

my main worry is that this is the only thing that has happened really since the opening post on the original takeover thread (interestingly that fella gets little credit / no credit for being ITK despite being the only one to say anything that is clearly true!)
