If push comes to shove, that could be the case. But I don't get the bit that these guys coming in, work in an ancient blue collar style and will have SD clocking in and out every day.
They will have discussions and at this stage, rely on some of SD's judgements especially related to football knowledge.

:lol: quite obviously this. Donald has sacked managers before, so he's hardly some ultra loyal type where that's concerned. On top of that he knows this is a huge opportunity for the club, and a chance to at least get his money back and end up with a, no doubt salary paying, position at a club where he'll still have shares which might be about to massively increase in value. He's a pretty sharp bloke and you can bet your life he won't let some random loyalty to Ross (who he's known for a couple of years) come between him and getting this done

I mean aye, or agree with you there, but I also don't think Donald would be stupid enough to risk this takeover not going through by standing by Jack Ross. If the new owners wanted him gone, I think he would be gone.

But would the 'new owners' want to risk the takeover on a decision when they don't know that much about the sport or whether JR is a dud or not?

Bollocks that about Donald refusing to sack Ross. He wouldn't risk the takeover for that, plus when the takeover went through the new owners would just sack them both.

Not going to risk the takeover and his job for Ross who lets face it wouldn't be having any of this if he was doing so well he made himself unshakable. But he hasn't gone great so not worth jeopardising the deal for.
