SAFC Takeover Latest

Would you rather persist with Ross and the current recruitment team?
Yes. Personally. I know that’s not an in thing to say, but we are league one, with league one players so expecting fantastic performances and brilliance is not possible presently.

We bring in someone else, we started all over again and the pattern continues.

I like Ross personally
Most of the managerial sackings worked in the short term. It was when Allardyce resigned it went truly pear shaped.
Can’t disagree there. Who knows

The bloke is a positivity vacuum. He's lost the fans - the away fans most notably.

Anyway, the takeover. It'll happen when it happens.

Are we talking 5 games on the bounce? I think the fans would appreciate a manager who doesn't set up to not lose tbh.

This isn't the thread for this to be fair.
Ross sets up safc not to lose but a different manager could lose five on the trot and not lose the fans?

The fans want a manager that will set up the team to lose, that appears to be what the above quote is saying

it would appear we don't have a League 1 Manager

Behave. Twisting words now.

Ross has had over a season and he still looks lost tactically and has no idea who his first 11 are as you know. A new manager losing 5 on the bounce is very unlikely in this league, again as you well know. Would the supporters be worried if that happened, yes. Then you'd have to question the appointment for sure. It's unfortunate Ross is not up to the challenge. He's not a league one manager. It's time he was replaced. I'd agree with keeping him if he was actually showing signs of improving the team but he isn't. It's not always the answer to sack a manager but just look at his record.

All I hear Rossy go on ablout is keeping a clean sheet, never scoring goals. His perfect world is 1-0.

Works for Mourinho

All assumptions. I do look at his record, we’ve gained 101 points under Ross. Pretty decent return

I think the exact opposite marra.....There's no news coming out of SD, CM, club as you would expect or even MSD (these lads are professionals) because of the amount of work and restructuring that will be going on behind the scenes.. Once all of the ducks are in a row, which should not be too far away now, i would suspect the club will make the announcement.. No news is good news for me at least. Hold your nerve.
Agree
The time its taking suggests that they mean business
These chaps have serious money. This is a different league to the consortium led by Campbell

We'll agree to disagree. Because this is the takeover thread not the Jack Ross thread.
 He has a points per game record which is among the best at safc in the last 40 years.

I’m not bothered if he stays or goes but it just repeats the pattern we have witnessed.

The next one comes in and the same things will happen. No matter who is in charge our playing staff is league one standard, however they are honest pros giving their best.

The fans want excitement first and foremost. A team with character and an attacking bent and not the horizontal pissypants gameplan proposed by Ross. Loads of managers could set up the best squad in league one not to lose. The problem is he does it and we still lose or draw against riffraff.
