SD was pencilled in for a local talk in / meeting with the Jarra branch this Friday. This has now been rescheduled for 11th October. I wonder if the takeover negotiations have forced the change?

1. They can examine any and all records held by the company (at least six years for a private company, and twelve years for a plc)
2. They will look a at board minutes, contracts, legal documents and correspondence.
3. They can only really question management about decisions made in their tenure. However, it should be noted that the finance director has been in place since 2007.

With respect to MSD due diligence and (#2) above "correspondence" includes reading all the comments about SAFC on SMB Pure Football for proper valuation of goodwill.

They are up to 2009 so far, and the more we post, the more we hold up the transaction date.

I think that will just come down to how long the takeover takes. The second that is through Ross will be gone.

And there's me thinking the weather was the only thing to dampen my week... seriously though, IF in the unlikely event it didnt proceed, I think a large number of us would like to know the details as to what (if anything) was uncovered. Although I doubt we'd ever know.

My doubts arise in that I cannot think there are too many more nasties, financial messes, etc that Donald and co did not uncover themselves and could not pass on to Dell, so I struggle to see what the hold up is... NI customs border or football equivalent?
