They might not be, but every outlay Donald has made so far (with the exception of Grigg, who was a last minute panic buy) has been seemingly carefully considered to fit within a specific budget and wage structure. To appoint a manager who we couldn’t afford to sack would be a massive risk for a bloke who has basically never taken a risk since he took over.

To me, it’s a lot more likely that we couldn’t appoint a permanent manager as it stands. Elliott Dickman is probably the only coach who could be a caretaker, which would go down like a f***ing lead balloon among the support. Ross might not be the long term man, but he’s consistently kept us in the Playoffs during his time here, so the comparative stability and continuity is probably why he’s still in a job.

Well given the absolute bomb scare that is our recruitment I, clearly, don't have the same faith in Donald as you have.

The takeover will go through as it was reported on the back of the times and the financial times, not because the smb said so
